from soundcloud: Originally composed by Giles Soulet for French Atari ST game 'Sapiens' back in the late 80's. This was the 2nd track that was played in the game and used sampled audio - something that rarely featured on this platform as the 3-channel PCM sound chip was never designed for this purpose. The game also featured the ability to output the audio as MIDI, so using loopback tools and an emulator I painstakingly recorded and reorganised the MIDI data using modern production tools. Thanks again to Giles Soulet for the original. I hope he likes my remake. Spoonwzd. |
