Ripped by George: 'This is the complete soundtrack from Volgarr the Viking. In my opinion, it is some of the best and most memorable VGM from 2013.
The official release by Kochun Hu has slightly altered tracks, like some world and boss themes are merged and play seamlessly.
While it benefits from more proper intros and endings, it is missing a few tracks.
Maybe you enjoy listening to the music as it was heard in the game, with each track separated and no alterations.
So what I did with this release is this:
- Each track is long enough to play once, after that if fades out properly.
- Boss tracks are quite shorter so they are conveniently looped.
- A few tracks end properly because they were supposed to end, others benefit from minimal modifications in the start so they don't feel abrupt.
- I cleaned the sound from some noticeable pops and clicks found even in the official sound master. I did it because it annoyed me personally, but maybe this change won't matter to you.'
