Once I programmed that, it just...went from there. I thought of things like text colors, alignment, and the RPG text box, and somehow did all of it, so it's more useful than it would've originally been. This is amazing, knowing how bad my mind is now.

...it uses wider pixels, so it's almost impossible to make legible 1-character fonts when using it. To work around this, I made a mostly 2-char-wide font, then wrote this script to convert normal text to the sets of tiles I needed for the font.

The main reason why I made this was due to "technical limitations"; MegaZeux imitates DOS text mode by default, but it has a "SMZX" mode that adds more colors to each tile, but with a catch...

In my earlier Roblox scripts, I didn't make sure variables weren't nil much at all, and that usually led to more errors than my more recent scripts, which actually check and validate values before trying to get/set values.

It sure does; It can feel so satisfying when I finish writing code, test the game, and it works perfectly! On the other hand, it's almost trivial to write messy/"spaghetti code" and basically ruin the codebase/game scripts...
